beginner 3d artist looking for a job for soul

Post by Nerd The Myhands »

hi! my name is Daniel. I am VERY bad at drawing 3d, but I have a desire for this, and therefore I decided to register here.

I use the free software Misfit Model 3d. I don't know how to do animation and/or texture, I can just make the main mesh and that's it.

I really want to learn how to do 3d well and efficiently. however, I have a shortage of ideas for what to draw, so I just suffer from shit, randomly mixing spheres and cubes.

I beg you to accept me into your team. I don’t guarantee a good job, I just want to learn how to do something, and you, I see, have a very good community...

do not hesitate to ask questions and ask to see my (I will say right away, bad) work. I hope that by making models for you, I can become a great 3D designer in the future.

Well... If you, according to your own words, draw very badly, then I don't even know if you will be useful to us with such abilities ... But if you want to get a handle on creating models, hone your skills and so on, then welcome. :)

I don't know what project you can work... We have two projects of games - one about Ancient Egypt (with elements of the Bible), and the second is a parody of all sorts of horror films (it does work not our peoples but third-party ones). Read the forum, choose a project that you like more, and then everything will be OK. :D

And now, I think, you have to show us what kind of models you are drawing in order to roughly understand what you are capable of.

Da-a-amn!.. Dude, you would be ashamed to post something like that! You really don't draw well. Although Uzi turned out well, it still has too few parts, which makes it more like a hammer drill...

But, if you still want to improve your skills, then go ahead and make models. By the way, what format do you save them in? You can upload them to some file hosting service and give links here so that we can use them in projects (well, except for absolutely shitty models, like these two).

Welcome to us, newbie! You can be of use to two of our projects - Jacob`s Twelve Sons and Jameson's Door. For the first project, you need to draw models close to fantasy and Ancient Egypt, and to the second - any abstract and creepy evil creatures/modern weapons. Choose what you like best and ask the project admins (IndiEngine's admin from the first one and RaudoKyubu from the second) to add you to the development team. Good luck!
