Jameson's Door (codename: SH-Demo) - project of a video-game in the survival horror genre with FPS elements (Action Horror), based on game engine IndiEngine. In a way, it is a parody of famous films and games in this genre. The goal of the project is to make a complete single-level game in which there will be a minimum of elements (enemies, weapons, etc.), but will have its own atmosphere and spirit.

Story

The case takes place at an indefinite time in an indefinite place (presumably in some city in Europe). Jameson Saunders, teacher of English literature wakes up in his apartment on a rainy day, and sees that the world around him, to put it mildly, is not quite familiar - there is dust all over the apartment, the floor and walls are dirty, and the view through the window is gray and gloomy, and from the street there is no not a single sound is heard (except for the subtle wind noise).
Jameson finds a handgun under the bed, then, in an attempt to find the key to the front door, he encounters a creepy creature in the toilet, and, killing him, finds the key and leaves his apartments...

Main Character

Jameson Saunders, elementary school English literature teacher. Blond, walks in brown trousers and blue jacket. There is complete chaos in his thoughts, he does not remember what happened before he woke up on that fateful day, the only thing he remembers is that he once had a wife and daughter, although he was always a bachelor .. In addition, he never fired a weapon, but despite this he gets along very well with a handgun and, probably, with other weapons (not necessarily firearms), if he found it in his wanderings around a deserted city without a specific name...

Game Concept

The game will be a first-person shooter with graphics inspired by the early 1990s, with a dark atmosphere similar to horror movies (like a style of Blood). The full version is supposed to have one long episode (story mode), with a dozen types of enemies and weapons.

About The Creators

The main game designer is Bratish, his goal is to make high-quality graphics (in the style of the early 1990s), the composer of the project is RiROBOT`s (Raimund Clement), and the scriptwriter and author of the idea is RaudoKyubu.

Ha, a game based on Jacob's Ladder, and in the style that is actual for the movie release?! Well done, I will stroke you! Because for this film, there really is not much fanatical about it (except for the arts, and there are not many of them), and you already aimed at the whole fan game!

Hmm... I'm not fond of Silent Hill and anything like that, but I know about the fact that apart from the remake of Jacob's Ladder in the franchise there is nothing else. And I am very interested in how you implement a parody in the FPS genre for this wonderful psychological thriller.

You have a talent for drawing - high resolution art and some in-game assets are very, very good. The only problem is that your project is not in demand yet. We have to make a game about another Jacob! :lol: :P :D

Hi. It's certainly good that you are doing your own project, learning to draw and so on, but damn it, are you really not interested in our common project?!?!

Listen, leave the guy alone! Unlike you, he does very cool things, and you just grumble and fart! I would take an example from him, draw too, invent plots (or it is not he who writes the plot... I got confused), and not scolded everyone! Old boys, damn!
