Only I was banned on DoomWorld, and I left for another forum, and when I started making graphic assets, I received a letter in my mail where RaudoKyuubu suggested that I make a parody game on Silent Hill theme on the GZDoom engine. Then a lot of water flowed under the bridge, and our whole team of three people settled in with you, and I think we will not leave, since you were so kind that you allowed us to have access to your file storage...
GZDoom? It buggy 2.5D bullshit?! Why do you need such a piece of shit? It would be better if Unity then...

Hmm... This is the first time I've heard of GZDoom. This is, by any chance, not the engine of the first Doom? In any case, I see no reason to speak in this way about the engine, which was made in the early nineties, it's like saying "DOS is shit" when there can be no question of comparing this system with modern ones...

In any case, it is now more or less clear why the Bratish assets are made in a small resolution and with an indexed palette - these are the limitations of GZDoom. Well, we guarantee that on our IndiEngine you can make a game without any restrictions, so you don't have to worry about adapting resources for outdated engines. This is my opinion.

In general, you are right, only GZDoom is not the original Doom engine (the one under DOS and with limited limits), but its fan fork. It is made by a whole community, and at one time I was eager to join them, until I received a letter from your administrator (how did he only hear about me?), and after deleted all graphic assets from their forum and migrated to your site. Something like this.

By the way, I owe them something in that it was they who taught me to draw. Before that, I only dabbled in taking Raimund Clement recordings and assembling them into Sound Pak's (and appropriating my authorship to them, yes, I'm such an asshole ;) ). So I can't call GZDoom "complete shit"

Hmm... Cool story, bro. By the way, one moment, why did you agree to the administrator's letter, and did not say something like "your engine is not yet ready, what should I do with you"? Maybe a stupid question, but still...

Well... I got tired of creating assets without public reaction, and I decided to publish all my and RiROBOT`s developments right away on their forum. And what do you think, only one dude (with the avatar of a cockroach peeking out of the toilet) reacted by saying that he saw no point in my project (by the way, he, among other things, he tricked me with "hero" sprites for my project), and I, offended by everyone, gladly accepted the offer of your site administrator. Well, now I see that it was not in vain, because you not only gave me access to your file sharing, but also gave me the opportunity to promote your engine (and I am glad to do good to others). It's all. Thank you for reading this slightly silly but real story.
