Yes, it's a strange question, but in this case it will be a little more correct whether to support facial animation in the indie engine, because if there are a lot of characters in the game, then without facial animation it will be not good...
Dude, don't you feel yourself that the question is incorrect and just stupid? RaudoKyubu says that he hasn't come up with anything besides the main character, and have you started to say something about facial animation?

Wait, let me think... In Silent Hill 1 (it is better to focus on this game, as the oldest one) there were seven characters (if you count with the main character). In the second part there were already six of them, and then even fewer.

The question here is how the development will go - I would like the game to have cutscenes with voice acting. Yes, and don't forget about the characters - I doubt that Bratish (no matter how enthusiastic he was) would not have made 6-7 characters for free, even if he has problems with the main character.

So... It's a tricky business. But personally, while making sketches, I made just seven characters (counting with the main character), and the types intersect rather with the second part of Silent Hill (there will be no crazy old woman and a doctor). Well, something like this

What's so strange about that? On the contrary, I was flattered by his message - it means that he can motivate the developers of this engine to implement facial animation (which I don't really want, since I always played Silent Hill 1, where there was no such thing), which of course is cool.
Success of Jameson's Door project will be in integrity, originality and uniqueness

Well... It's "cool", what can I say...

It’s interesting how you’ll write lines for all seven heroes, if you’re too lazy now to even just tell in general terms what year the game will take place, what kind of city, and why all this will be spinning in the game.

You, I can see, are too ambitious. Don't be surprised if the development of your game drags on for many years, not because the engine will take a long time to develop, but because you, the coordinator of Jameson's Door, will not be able to write even one line line for the plot.

I am not insulting you, I am just saying as it is and what I have read from you personally.

Yes, this gentleman has huge ambitions... He wish to made a new Silent Hill... Without 3D models, it will not be possible to make normal cutscenes, even the artist of this game project himself says that he does not know thing about this matter ...

In the place of the game coordinator, I would not set a huge goals for myself, especially if the engine is not yet released (otherwise, who knows, suddenly what you came up with cannot be implemented on the IndiEngine)...

What's the conversation guys? That these three are too ambitious, or that they have problems with the development of the game (I personally see one problem - the lack of at least some IndiEngine release)?

I do not know how to do anything that could be useful to game developers, but I can give advice - you should not immediately target a dozen characters with voice acting right away, but start with the most important thing - with the main character, who is still at the sketching stage (and the game needs either a 3D model, or a hundred sprites from all positions).

I'll tell you what!
