IMHO, this topic is absolutely useless, because all games have the same principle of operation of a flashlight, and it would be foolish to invent a velosived. You can just make a larger radius for the second flashlight, and that's it.

Know, you, of course, conveyed the essence correctly, but you seem to have forgotten that "IndiEngine is not Unity", and therefore the functionality of the flashlight on it can be made unique without copying behavior from other game engines. Something like this...
